Exciting News for our Hygiene Kit Program!

Living on the streets our ‘client-friends’ often fight for every meal, for room at the shelters as well as restroom facilities, AND they often find themselves without toiletries too. Imagine not having a toothbrush or toothpaste, soap, shampoo, or lip balm while navigating the dusty, dirty, hot streets of our city.  Santa Fe Need and Deed, through our regular volunteers Deb Williams and John Bohnert from Christ Church Santa Fe, have been providing these items for many months and they are always looking for help with this endeavor.

That’s why we are so thrilled now to have our community partner, Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Santa Fe helping with this program. They have an open notice to their congregants to fill plastic bags with hygiene items and return them to church. We have already received more than 20 full bags.  Thank you UUC!

If you would like to donate hygiene items you may always bring them to Westminster Presbyterian Church at 841 W. Manhattan Ave. Santa Fe, NM 87501.
