Santa Fe Need and Deed like any non-profit that helps those experiencing homelessness is always looking for help.  Many agencies have a wish list of items they need on a regular basis.  Because we serve many folks who actually sleep and live on the street or in the hills in winter, we are in dire need of warm weather gear for men and women.

When you are homeless your BACKPACK becomes a Lifepack, a TARP becomes a roof and a SLEEPING BAG is the only thing between you and the frozen earth.

Layer after layer is needed to survive any Winter’s day in Santa Fe.
Long underwear, Long-sleeved shirts, Warm pants, Warm socks, Water repellant boots,
Winter coats, Water repellant jackets, Hats, scarves and gloves

Everyday needs include:
Hygiene items, toilet paper, wet wipes, sun screen, razors, travel size sundries, any size sturdy plastic disposable bags,
hand warmers, sunglasses and readers, wallets, belts and shoe laces, batteries, flash lights

Food to go:
Canned (pop-top) meat and fruit products, peanut or almond butter, Jerky, Nuts

And we always need:
Money.  Remember, we are a 501 (c) 3 public charity so any money you give is tax deductible.  78% of our funding goes directly to our clients.

Come to our Monday meeting (though we are closed on Mondays until January 9th, 2017.)   We would love to meet you and learn more about how we may work together.

Where to take these items…
On Monday at Westminster Presbyterian Church (actual address) Saint Francis Road and Manhattan Avenue between 12:30 and 1:45pm. This is before our regular Monday Meeting.  -or-

Christ Church Santa Fe 1213 Don Gaspar Avenue; Cordova Road and Don Gaspar Avenue.  Tuesday through Friday 10:00am to 4:00pm.  We have a barrel there.

Warmly, your friends at Santa Fe Need and Deed
